Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is an exciting new outdoor walking technique using specially designed walking poles.
Excel were the first company to design these poles, with more than 20 yrs of experience they are the leading producer of Nordic Walking poles and accesories. In calculating the correct pole length for excercising the simple formula of using one's own height multiplied by 0.68 is recommended. Pole lengths are graded at 5cm intervals so the calculated ideal length should be rounded of to the nearest 5cm. The rule of thumb is that the Nordic Walker should be at approximately a 90 degree angle when held by the grip with the tip on the ground. Please click on the view link for a usefull chart.
